Week two tweets & instas after the jump!
Tonight I'll be at The Wedding Plan & Manifesto. Honestly, basically everything looks good today. Follow your arrow! #SIFF2017

The Wedding Plan might be my favorite romcom since Obvious Child. & I saw The Big Sick last week. #SIFF2017

People behind me in line complaining The Wedding Plan was obvious, as apparently they've never seen a romcom before. #SIFF2017

Aha! I knew Oz Zehavi looked familiar; he was the dreamboat in Yossi a few years back.

Skated into Manifesto on Platinum Plus-adjacent privilege. My sexuality is Cate Blanchett in all black, smoking and yelling at me. #SIFF2017

Today's #SIFF2017 plan: Those Redheads from Seattle & probably Suffering of Ninko. I liked The Winter, if that looks like your jam.

Ah! Sami Blood was already a #SIFF2017 must-see, but especially now I know the director also made Stoerre Vaerie, a NLFF favorite short.

Tonight I'm just seeing Cabaret, but if you're free earlier, try Sami Blood or The Wedding Plan. #SIFF2017

At Cabaret I learned the risks inherent in sitting in an aisle seat; I was pulled onstage during the opening number of the drag show that preceded the film. Sorry not sorry, everyone.
Cabaret also reminded me how beautiful young Michael York was. And it taught me the risks inherent in sitting on the aisle. #SIFF2017 pic.twitter.com/NrQnduEdRS

Today's #SIFF2017 plan: ShortsFest Opening Night & Vampire Cleanup Department.
— the lady hermit ☂️ (archive) (@letterboxed) May 25, 2017
(I have the hardest time with that name. I've called it Vampire Cleanup Crew, Squad, Academy...it's ridiculous.) #SIFF2017
— the lady hermit ☂️ (archive) (@letterboxed) May 25, 2017
Playing tonight I liked Weirdos & Bad Black. It's Only the End of the World, Small Town Kllers, & Two Irenes are on my list. #SIFF2017

One week into #SIFF2017 & I've already performed at the Kit Kat Club and died of ebola for a Ugandan film. What else could possibly await?

I got a lot more festival knitting done before I became a passholder. Two years I knit an entire sweater. This year, one sock if I'm lucky.

Someone should tell the Vampire Cleanup Department that municipal employees can accept gifts up to $25 value, shared among staff. #SIFF2017

Today's #SIFF2017 plan: Handsome Devil and either Tom of Finland or God of War.
— the lady hermit ☂️ (archive) (@letterboxed) May 26, 2017
Showing today at #SIFF2017 I've seen Manifesto & City of Ghosts, both worth checking out, & of course the Rumble event looks great.
— the lady hermit ☂️ (archive) (@letterboxed) May 26, 2017
My #SIFF2017 today: Rumble, Dean (maaaybe), the Sam Elliott tribute, A Date With Mad Mary, Animation4Adults, & Meatball Machine Kodoku.
— the lady hermit ☂️ (archive) (@letterboxed) May 27, 2017
Also worth a look: The Girl Without Hands, Finding KUKAN, Tom of Finland, City of Ghosts, Weirdos. & Original Bliss is on my list. #SIFF2017

Taking advantage of the pass situation at An Afternoon with Sam Elliott. I saw his & Brett’s prior film at SIFF two years ago, & recommend it especially if you’re feeling salty about the age gap in The Hero. I’ll See You In My Dreams features Elliott as well as Martin Starr wooing Blythe Danner.
I've now been in the same room as Sam Elliott & his moustache twice. You may touch the hem of my garment.

I don't know what to see at #SIFF2017 today apart from the Secret. What are you guys seeing?
— the lady hermit ☂️ (archive) (@letterboxed) May 28, 2017
Today's Secret is another kind I like: when you force folks to see a movie they'd otherwise skip, but which needs a big audience. #SIFF2017
