[Directed by Women, week 1]

The month of September is a worldwide film viewing party celebrating features directed by women, as pointed out to me by a new friend on FB (also posting recs, hooray!)

Far be it from me to let an opportunity to recommend films pass me by, so…

I started on September 2nd, but I will sneak in an extra rec at some point to make up for it. And Netflix is very limiting, so I will have (at least) one non-Netflix a week, but ideally still available to rent online or see in theaters.
